This is still my absolute favorite hot pot in the world! Great ingredients and spice level.

Good traditional hotpot. Authentic flavors for a reasonable price. Not many servers but the service itself did not take long as the resturant is relatively small.

Been coming here since the place first opened, they claim to be one of the first hot pot places in the bay area. Growing up here, I have little reason to doubt their claim. The service is always phenomenal. And the ambiance is always very casual. I always get a mala pot with lamb.

Wow! I never had Mongolian hot pot and I was lucky to try this place. It reminds me of Chinese hot pot in particular, schezuan hot pot. There was a lot of spice and oil which was not to my liking but it's a personal preference! I got the least amount of spice and it was too spicy for me but again this is a me problem and not the restaurant's. They had unique toppings in it like tripe and if you're a huge fan, this is a place for me. For me personally, I don't eat tripe so I wasn't a fan. Why is this a 4 star if I didn't enjoy the restaurant as much? I don't believe in giving a restaurant less stars just because it was not to my preference because the food was good and still high quality!

Amazing! Came here to eat because my aunt recommended it to me. Never knew such a good individual hot pot spot was here all along. I love how deep the flavor is for the mala pot soup. It is a bit on the salty side, but I really love that to eat with the rice. I can tell the quality of the meat is really good because of how tender it is. Each pot is loaded and the price is reasonable. You HAVE to ask for their dipping sauce, it is the best thing ever. Service is amazing and I would definitely be coming back here again soon. Also, CASH ONLY!

Opening hours and holiday schedule at Wujis. The mala lamb level 5 was an absolute delight! The balance of spices was impeccable. The tender meat paired with the perfectly seasoned sauce created an explosion of taste that left me craving more. Each bite was a delightful journey through layers of rich, savory goodness! Will definitely come back again!

My friend and I came here on a Wednesday night at 7PM, and we were not expecting to see a lot of people in the middle of the week. The parking was pretty packed, so expect to drive around a bit if you come around this time. However, Wu Ji's Mala House had a good amount of people, and we were seated right away!! The service was awesome and quick. I got the House Beef Pot but with the Mala broth (level 2). It was soo delicious - the meat was tender and the broth was so good!!! If you like spicy hot pot then you should definitely come to Wu Ji's Mala House. It may look like a small pot, but it will actually fill you up.

Ordered the beef mala spicy pot. Since it was my first time, I went with level 2 spice. It had a nice little kick, which makes me want to try level 3 next time. The fixings for the pots on the house (non-spicy) and spicy sections of the menu are different. You can ask to make the house pot spicy. Worth the try but not too high on my list if I wanted to get my one pot hot pot fix. A little more on the pricey side compared to other spots (especially those that have a lunch special). It'd be nice if there were sauces available to go with the meal. Not the biggest space but there are a couple booths inside and limited outdoor seating. Be mindful it is cash only!
